Bouncy XBox Live Installation
Please select the required installation method you need using the buttons below. You should follow IP.Boards documentation for the standard installation methods of App's as well as reading any special instructions listed on this page. if you would like us to install it for you, you will be given the option as an addon when purchasing. If you experience any problems or need the application installing after ordering please contact our support department.
Step 1
The first thing you should do is upload all of the files included with the Bouncy License Control Center App ensuring to keep the file structure intact. (skip to step 3 if you already have the license control App installed)
Step 2
Navigate to your forums Admin CP and install the Bouncy License Control Center App. If prompted choose to drop existing tables at installation.
Step 3
Upload all of the files included with your Bouncy XBox Live Download and set the permissions (CHMOD) of the /cache/bxbl_cache/ directory to 0777 (make this directory writable). be sure to upload the /bxbl_images/ directory to ALL of your /style_images/ directories for your forum skins. e.g.. /public/style_images/my_skin/
Step 4
Navigate to your forums Admin CP and run the installer for the Bouncy XBox Live application, ensuring to "DROP" any tables that exist if prompted.
Step 5
Once installation is complete navigate to System Settings > XBox Live (tab) > General Settings and enter your license key.
Installation Complete
If your license key is entered incorrect you will receive errors in the application, so please double check that you have entered it correctly.
Upgrade Existing Installation to v2.3.0
Step 1
Delete the entire contents of the theme directory (default theme directory is /bxbl_theme/ located in your forums root directory)
Step 2
Delete the entire contents of the BOUNCY XBOX LIVE cache directory (default is /cache/bxbl_cache/)
Step 3
Upload the contents of the downloaded zip file to your forums root directory keeping the file structure intact
Step 4
Login to your Admin CP and Select "Manage Applications & Modules" from the left menu. You should see a bold green "Upgrade Available" message next to the Bouncy XBox Live Application, Click this and follow the on screen instructions.
Step 5
Once your upgrade is complete log back in to your Admin CP and select "System Scheduler" From the menu on the left and select the "Bouncy XBox LIVE!" tab
Step 6
Click the Blue or Red run task icon next to "Update Gamer Cache" this will update 30 gamers per run, so if you have more than 30 gamers you will need to run it several times. for example if you had 120 gamers, you would need to click it 4 times, ensuring you wait for it to finish running before each click.
Step 7
Once you have updated all the cache's click the Blue or Red run task icon next to "Update Community Leaderboard" This will update our global leaderboard website with your correct scoring and position.
Upgrade Complete
Once you have manually ran the tasks, they will run automatically from that point on and will not have to be run manually again.

Bouncy XBox LIVE brings your gaming community directly to your forum where members can show off and compare stats, games, achievements and check out who is currently playing and what game they are playing. Bouncy XBox LIVE also has User selectable themes which admins can easily create themselves, or download for free from our download area. These themes can then be selected by your members to be displayed on their gaming profiles, giving you the power to completely customise your look. As well as giving profiles a new look and feel with a theme, you can also give members avatars a make over too using our very own avatar overlay technique to add accessories, clothes or what ever you like!
